As part of our expansion, we are seeking a talented Shopify Web Developer & Team Lead to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Shopify Web Developer with 5-8 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining Shopify ecommerce websites, who also possesses leadership qualities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Shopify's platform capabilities, as well as a proven track record of implementing custom solutions and optimizing performance. A deep understanding of Liquid is a must as our main site is built on a custom theme.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Web Developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure successful project delivery and professional growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the Shopify ecosystem.
• Design, develop, and maintain Shopify ecommerce websites (including for markets outside of the United States), ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
• Work with our onsite design team to customize Shopify themes and templates to meet specific project requirements, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing user experience.
• Implement Shopify apps and integrations to enhance website functionality and streamline business processes.
• Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve any issues or bugs in the Shopify websites.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Shopify development and e-commerce technology, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Oversee project timelines and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery within scope and deadline.
• Serve as a point of contact for upper management, providing updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of proven experience in Shopify web development, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful Shopify projects.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, vanilla JavaScript, and Liquid programming language.
• Expertise in customizing Shopify themes and templates using Shopify Liquid.
• Experience with Shopify APIs, app development, and third-party integrations.
• Solid understanding of e-commerce best practices, including SEO, conversion optimization, data tracking, and UX/UI design principles.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their full potential.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated competency and problem-solving skills, with a track record of effectively resolving technical challenges and driving solutions.
• Willingness to meticulously examine details and take ownership of problems from cradle to grave.
