Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced and talented Senior UX/UI Designer to join their team. As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience and interface design for projects in military and private sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information science, human-computer interaction (HCI), or related fields, along with extensive experience designing complex systems and leading technical projects. This role requires a TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities:

Lead the design process for systems and projects directly supporting military and private sector, from concept development to final implementation.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, to define user requirements and design solutions that meet business objectives.

Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to inform design decisions and ensure a user-centered approach.

Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts and solutions effectively.

Establish and maintain design guidelines, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and coherence across our products and services.

Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Serve as a technical project lead or engineering lead for selected projects, coordinating with development teams to ensure successful implementation of design solutions.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Human-Centered Design, Human Factors Engineering, or related field.

5+ years of experience as a UX/UI designer for complex systems, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality design solutions.

2+ years of experience as a technical project lead or engineering lead, demonstrating the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive successful project outcomes.

Technically proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator. Familiarity with Basic HTML5, CSS3; JavaScript and React skills a plus

Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, with experience conducting user research and usability testing.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively articulate and present design concepts and solutions to diverse audiences.

Current TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain clearance
