Are you a graphic designer who is tired of being glued to your desk? Do you want to see your design on the finished product? Our client’s designers develop creative logos that major players in the transportation industry rely on. We are seeking an experienced creative graphic designer who not only has experience creating vinyl prints, but also enjoys being part of the production and assembly process.

This long-term position has duties that include, but are not limited to:

• Review files from clients, create custom orders, create linework, recreate rendering work in custom colors using Adobe Suite

• Create files for production use and custom use using Adobe Suite and Gerber Omega software programs Physically assembling vinyl graphics in a fast-paced environment that starts with machine and hand cutting vinyl, weeding excess materials, masking final design, boxing item to ship. Production of stock graphics, custom graphics and visual materials

• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards

• Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually

• Load and unload items from machines

• Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or masking

• Transfer finished products, raw materials, tools, or equipment between storage and work areas

Essential qualifications of the ideal candidate include:

• An Associate's Degree or higher

• Vinyl sign making experience

• Illustrator Suite competency

• Composer vector art file expertise

• Familiar with PC based applications

• network filing capability

• excellent interpersonal skills

• customer service oriented

• high organizational skills

• attention to detail

• desire to take initiative

• work in team and individual based projects

• solid hand/eye coordination is a must

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Fitchburg, WI: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Graphic design: 1 year (Preferred)
• Adobe Creative Suite: 1 year (Preferred)
• Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Preferred)
