Performs electrocardiographic and other cardiographic tests.


Job Responsibility

• Provides patient/significant other with education concerning cardiac testing.
  • Explains purpose of cardiac test to patient/significant other.
  • Explains procedure/process of cardiac testing and equipment to be used to patient/significant other.
  • Answers all questions courteously and correctly.
  • Elicits patients' willingness/ability to have the test performed.
• Provides prescribed cardiac testing.
  • Performs Holter monitoring.
  • Performs stress testing.
  • Provides trans-telephonic beepers.
  • Correctly documents activities on approved hospital forms(s).
• Performs related duties as required.

Job Qualification

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Minimum of three (3) years clinical experience with Holter monitoring stress testing, trans-telephone beeper and IPG's, required.
• Computer literate.

The salary range for this position is $23.86-$26.23/hour
