Daniel J. Hannon & Associates, Inc. (DJH) is a Long Island-based insurance claims adjusting/investigating firm which works on behalf of insurance companies, TPAs, law firms and municipalities primarily in New York and New Jersey, as well as throughout the United States.

Job Description:

DJH has an immediate need for part-time claims investigators to conduct construction site accident investigations in the Buffalo, NY area.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years claims investigation experience preferred
• Knowledge of New York Labor Law Sections 240, 241 and 200
• Bilingual (with Spanish as second language) is a huge plus, but not required
• Valid driver's license and well-maintained personal vehicle
• Strong computer skills
• Candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to take signed and/or recorded statements, complete detailed scene inspections with photos and measurements, locate/interview witnesses, gather records, take possession of evidence and establish chain of custody, etc.
• Strong writing skills, including statements and investigation reports
• Meet time sensitive deadlines and work a flexible schedule
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

Compensation:

• Negotiable based on relevant experience
