**Job Skills / Requirements**
Includes but is not limited to:
Security Officers will manage access control points and monitor camera systems. Security officers may perform patrols to ensure the safety and security of clients property and equipment from vandalism and theft. Patrols may be conducted on foot or by vehicle. Security Officers can work out of office buildings, guard shacks, construction sites, personal vehicles, or company vehicles. Security Officers will have to complete Daily Activity Reports every shift and Incident Reports when necessary. Security Officer will need to be customer service orientated, have great verbal and written communication skills.
**Education Requirements (Any)**
High School or GED
**Certification Requirements (All)**
Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy Firearms Course (OPATA 20 hour class)
Current Police Commission

**REQUIREMENTS**
Security Officers must have at least three (3) years of experience or prior law enforcement or military experience. In lieu of work experience, Security Officers may have equivalent experience in education in Criminal Justice or related fields of study. Security Officer must have knowledge of the security industry.
Must have valid Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy (OPOTA) 20 Hour Private Security Firearms Course Certificate.
Or
Must be a commissioned Peace Officer.
Must be 21 years or old
Have a valid Drivers License with clean driving record
Clean criminal record
Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
